The Z 137 T Agro aircraft has been developed using the
technology and design features previously applied to the Z37 agricultural spay plane, of
which more than 700 have been produced for world markets since its origin. Improvements on
previous designs have resulted in an aircraft offering reliable, proven, agricultural
spray and water bombing equipment, with the ability to operate from rough grassy
airstrips.
The Z 137 T is designed for application of solid and liquid chemicals crop
fertilization, seed sowing and dusting for forest treatment. When fitted with optional
equipment , the aircraft is well suited for fire fighting roles, or an almost unlimited
range of banner and glider towing capabilities.
Features offered on the aircraft include a 1000 liter capacity chemical tank,
annunciator lights to warn of potential problems of 20 aircraft operational systems, and
pressurized air for the operation of agricultural riggings.
A 30 meter wide spray coverage can be achieved with standard equipment. This can be
increased to 45 meters with the use of a unique crop dusting set-up.
The comfortable cockpit comes complete with a rear passenger compartment for a
maintenance person and serving equipment.
Superior flight characteristics and exceptional visibility provides a safe environment
for low altitude flying.
The aircraft is powered by a proven 520hp, M 601 Z turbine and a Avia propeller.
