PIAGGIO P149D report
The P149D was designed by Stelio Frati in 1950's from the Piaggio 148.
The aircraft was originally operated by the German Luftwaffe in a training and liaison
role. It has a conventional layout tractor design with a maximum of 4 seats. The general
construction is metal, low wing with an electrically retracting undercarriage in nosewheel
configuration. Crew and passengers enter through a large sliding canopy.
