Martin and Klaus are 5O% partners
of the last built Do27, c/n 2200 D-EGAO. They
organized the first Do27 meeting in 1993 at
Braunschweig/Germany 34 Do27 met the first time
together. As well they were involved in the
organization of the second meeting at
Gelnhausen/Germany in 94, the third meeting at
Nordholz/Germany in 96 and the fourth meeting at
Gelnhausen in 97. All meetings were successful.
During the second meeting a formation-flight of more
than 20 Do27’s was performed. The 5th
international meeting took place in June 98 at Kiel
but it wasn’t that successful because of the
weather conditions in Germany.
In addition to the aforesaid they
hold the contact to Do27 owners and pilots world wide
to keep them advised on the meetings and exchange
experiences. So far Martin is in contact with Do27
owners and pilots in Belgium, France, Switzerland,
Iceland, Netherlands, England, Kenya, South-Africa,
Spain, Portugal, Canada, and the United States. He
collects everything concerning the history of the
Do27 for his archive. It contains a lot of
information and photos of the Do27. There is a file
for each of the 627 planes.
They can provide historical and
technical documentation and as well most of the spare
parts.
