regards to size and quality.
The L410 is a high-wing twin turbo-prop unpressurised 19 passenger aircraft. It’s
the ideal feeder aircraft or to operate it on direct short city-pair connections. The
plane is unmatched in this class. The difference is the stand up cabin and the high
quality of workmanship. It offers the possibility of serving communities with short or
even unpaved runways. The dispatch reliability is very high one of the most important
factors for a small airline.
More than 1000 units have been build over the years and most of them are still in
service. The majority was delivered to the former Soviet Union but quite a number went to
Asia, Africa and South America. The last 10 years there is a constant flow of L410 from
Russia going all over the world.
Today Let Kunovice has the L420 with a FAA type certificate.
