King Air C90 report
#2 in Kuala Lumpur
We went to Manila on
the Philippines, followed by a stop in Kota Kinabalu a tourist destination
on Borneo, Kuching and finally Kuala Lumpur all in Malaysia.

Here we
stayed a few days and I had time to take a lot of pictures. This city is
definitivly worth a stop. Prices are moderate maybe half of that of Singapore.
A nice hotel runs from 60-100$ for a standard room. Look from the hotel
room down to the swimming pool located already on the 10th floor.

Transportation down
town is by mono rail. Not as fast as it looks but very comfortable and with aircondition.
Buy one ticket and stay on board.

There are nice
restaurants and bars all over the place. A good diner is available for
10$.

And they have huge
shopping centers, for comparison a pair of Adidas sport shoes are 30-40$.
(2005)
And more shopping

The PETRONAS
(twin towers) dominate the skyline. Visit is free but tickets are
limited and allow only to go up to the bridge linking the towers.

But best view
of town is from
the Telecommunication tower, the fourth highest in the world.

A great view 360° around
shows the city from the top.

Even in this very
modern city some looks are still different.

One
thing to note: The countries
religion is Islam but here it is very liberate showing how it can be.
When flying in with a small plane the preferred airport is Subang.
Handling service is required and cost around 100-300$ depending of the
company chosen.
